Service Technician

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Service Technician to support our bakery, food, Chemical, wood and process industry clients in the UK and Ireland.
This role involves servicing and maintaining a range of production equipment including cooling ovens, conveyor belts, tracking systems, roto-forming machines and pastillating units.
The ideal candidate combines hands on mechanical aptitude with strong customer facing skills and a commercial mindset.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on bakery, food, chemical and wood industry processing machines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control issues across cooling ovens, belts systems and forming machinery.
- Document visits with clear professional reports including findings, actions taken and recommendations.
- Provide technical guidance and training to client operators and maintenance teams.
- Identify opportunities to upsell service contracts, spare parts, or preventative maintenance packages.
- Maintain a clean safe and organised work environment on site and in workshop settings.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Proactive, supportive, and structured in your way of working.
- Customer focused and service minded.
Ability to work under pressure by taking own decisions.
- Strong mechanical / engineering skills
- Proven experience in industrial equipment servicing, ideally in the bakery, food, or process industries
- English language speaking
- Microsoft office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust with clients.
TIG Welding certification
- 3 years in machinery installation or
- 3 years mechanical engineering or
- 3 years industrial maintenance or
- 3 years working as TIG welder.
- Level-headed and solution focused.
- Reassures clients with clear confident communication.
- Full Driving license for UK
Flexible schedule and availability to travel in the UK and Ireland. There may be requirements for overseas travel.
