About the role
As a Quality Engineer you will take on a key role in IPCO’s quality and customer care operations. You will manage customer cases and claims, coordinate interventions, and drive and secure corrective and preventive actions that ensure long-term improvements. The position involves close collaboration with production, global service, R&D, material lab and sales, to make sure that our processes and products consistently exceed expectations. A crucial part of the role is also maintaining and developing our ISO certification, safeguarding IPCO’s high standards in demanding global markets. As a team member, you are also a part of other work tasks within safety, work environment, quality, sustainability and environment.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage customer complaints from receipt through to resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis with organization and implement structured corrective and preventive actions according to quality methods such as DMAIC, 8D, 4Q, etc.
- Collaborate with production, global service, R&D, material lab and sales organization to integrate quality into every stage of the value chain.
- Monitor and analyze quality data, identifying trends and driving continuous improvements.
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues to strengthen quality awareness and performance across the organization.
- Prepare quality reports and maintain documentation in line with corporate standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits to secure compliance according to ISO standards.
Your Profile
You have a technical degree or equivalent engineering background and bring solid experience in quality management from an industrial or manufacturing environment. You know how to work with established quality tools and methods such as DMAIC, 8D, FMEA, SPC, and you have hands-on experience of management systems and standards, especially ISO 9001.

Above all, you are unpretentious and focused on what creates real value for the customer and the business.
Additional requirements include:
- Strong skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- A valid driver’s license (B).
- Ability to travel when required.
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the required qualifications, it is considered meritorious if you bring experience or knowledge into the following areas:
- Machine design and mechanical construction.
- Materials science and material properties.
- Measurement technology and calibration.
- ERP system M3, SharePoint.
- Proficiency in German, spoken and written.
