As the person responsible for IPCO’s Regional Financial Hub in EMEA, you will be a key figure in our finance function and have a role with opportunity to make a real impact by enabling and driving important parts of IPCO’s strategic agenda.
About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for accounting, reporting, and a range of related processes for several European entities. You will build and lead a team of competent resources to leverage shared services throughout the region and create scalability in IPCO’s financial processes. You will ensure our processes maintain the highest quality and drive improvements to strengthen and streamline our operations. This is a role for someone who enjoys working structurally and with leadership in an international context.
Your Responsibilities
· Lead and coach a team in accounting and reporting.
· Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing for several European entities.
· Ensure accounting complies with local and international regulations.
· Ensure internal controls within IPCO are followed.
· Drive improvement initiatives, efficiency, and harmonization of processes between entities and other regional Hubs.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors.
· Ensure payments, both supplier invoices and payroll, are made.
· Compile cash flow forecasts.
· Tax matters such as VAT management, declarations, transfer pricing, and compilation of “local files”.
· Coordination of annual inventory processes.
We are looking for someone who has
· At least five years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
· Documented leadership experience.
· Ability to see improvement potentials and drive change.
· Good understanding of group accounting (meritorious).
· Fluent English, both spoken and written.
